How is Roblox going to prosecute a suit against a bunch of unknown people?

Roblox filed a new lawsuit earlier this year against a group of anonymous individuals. 

Roblox alleged these unknown individuals are selling Robux, virtual items, and botting services in violation of Roblox’s terms.

So how is Roblox going to prosecute a suit against a bunch of unknown people?

They’ve got to unmask their identity. 

To do that, they’re serving subpoenas to Discord and internet service providers, to try to find out their true identities.

Once they find out who they are, they’ll update the lawsuit with their true names.

This is a good reminder that you’re not as anonymous on the internet as you may think you are! With enough time, money, and effort, you can and most likely will be discovered.
